Various laser-cut acrylic sculptures with cutouts based on observed moments of light and shadow, which cast their own shadows, creating a new architecture.
Threshold, 2019, in rose-gold transparent acrylic, is inspired by the shape of cast sunlight light I noticed in an apartment entrance in Berlin. I Almost Walked Past It, 2019, features shapes of sunlight on the ground, cut in four transparent umber panels standing along the wall in a delicate balance.
